Emily Elliott


Emily Elliott is a Professor of Psychology at LSU, with a specialization in the areas of individual and developmental differences in working memory and attention. She is a member of the Cognitive and Brain Sciences PhD program in Psychology, and she collaborates with the Music Cognition and Computation Lab. She has a keen interest in auditory distractors, and how memory and attention interact to guide our actions. One of her current research projects includes an examination of individual differences in working memory capacity among a wide range of musical abilities
